LCAC's Spring Into Action 2024 Gala

LCAC's 2024 Gala helps fund LCAC's programs and services throughout the year. Lorton Community Action Center enhances the quality of life of southeastern Fairfax County residents in need by providing food, basic needs, and self-sufficiency programs through the generous support of our community. LCAC is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization that has provided critical assistance to individuals and families in southeastern Fairfax County for more than 40 years. The LCAC Spring Into Action Annual Gala is the organization's largest fundraising event of the year. All proceeds support LCAC's mission to provide healthy food distributions; limited financial assistance to prevent eviction or interruption in utility services; groceries, clothes, and other needs on Thanksgiving and December holidays; back-to-school and warm coat drives; and educational programs for adults and children from writing to home budgeting to nutrition and other classes to strengthen self-sufficiency. LCAC is highly rated by Charity Navigator (4-star, 100% rating), is BBB accredited, and is recognized by the Catalogue for Philanthropy as one of the Best Small Charities in the Greater Washington DC Region.
