LCAC's 2026 Gala--Nourishing Neighbors

Join us for LCAC's 2026 Gala--"Nourishing Our Neighbors! The gala, our organization's largest fundraising event of the year, includes delicious hors-d'oeuvres and dinner, dessert, wine and beer, and dancing with a fun DJ spinning the tunes. Most importantly, the gala raises critical funds to help support LCAC programs and services throughout the year!

Along with delightful dinner along the Occoquan River, at the gala you can win tantalizing prizes in a raffle and silent and live auction. Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC) is a human services non-profit charity in Lorton, VA and the gala proceeds make a big impact furthering LCAC's mission--providing critical assistance to individuals and families in southeastern Fairfax County, through generous support of the community!

As we enter our 51st year, LCAC provides weekly food and other essential groceries at our pantry, where we are meeting historically high demand. We further aid vulnerable neighbors by providing qualified rent assistance to prevent eviction and some help with utility bills or car repairs. We collect and distribute warm coats, back-to-school supplies, and holiday food and gift cards, and offer programs throughout the year for children and adults to gain skills or experiences and strengthen their futures.

LCAC is highly rated by Charity Navigator (4-star, 100% rating), is BBB accredited, and is recognized by Spur Local as one of the Best Small Charities in the Greater Washington DC Region. LCAC is a 501(c)3 organization and contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
